The New Year’s celebration will take place from December 31 at 9 p.m. to January 1 at 2 a.m.
Popular DJs both in Latvia and outside Latvia will perform at the New Year’s celebration, and according to the festive mood, festive video projections made by young artists, children and young people of the city of Riga will be displayed on the facades of the buildings.
DJ Ella, DJ “Makree”, “Funky”, DJ “Elegant”, DJ “PM2AM”, DJ “Monsta” and TV presenter Armands Simsons will provide joy and dancing in the squares of Old Riga. Before the clock strikes midnight, it is intended that all those gathered will agree on a common countdown to celebrate the New Year together.
For the convenience of festival visitors, hot and refreshing drinks, as well as snacks, will be available at the event venues. In Old Riga, maps of the dance areas for the New Year’s celebrations of the city of Riga will be placed, so that everyone can find the most suitable square to welcome the year 2025.
On New Year’s Eve, the Old Riga Christmas Market will also be open, where from 9 p.m. the group “Party Godfathers” will warm up the visitors of Dome Square. After that, from 11 p.m., DJ Toms Grēviņš will provide entertainment on Dom Square.
