In the Ebensee field, where Shlomo Venezia lost a lung – Corriere TV

A Jew of Italian nationality born in Thessaloniki, Shlomo Venezia (1923-2012) was deported to Auschwitz, Mauthausen and Ebensee. He was selected for the Sonderkommando, the team that was to work in the crematoria. Survived, he was a key witness. The documentary will be broadcast on 27 January at 11.30 pm on Rai 1 “Shlomo’s Breath”, directed by Ruggero Gabbai and written by Marcello Pezzetti, with Forma International and Cdec, produced by the Shoah Museum Foundation, in collaboration with Rai Cinema, realized thanks to the support of Roma Capitale, the Lazio Region, Ucei, the Jewish Community of Rome, the Sons Association of the Shoah. In this video a preview excerpt shot in the Ebensee concentration camp: there Shlomo Venezia was forced to work in inhumane conditions and lost a lung.
