The Korea Society of Management Engineers (Chairman Baek Dong-hyeon, Hanyang University), the Korea Customer Satisfaction Management Society (Chairman Kim Yeon-seong, Inha University), and the Korean Society of Public Management (Chairman Park Soon-ae, Seoul National University) jointly planned and hosted the ‘Jeongjeon’ held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 10th. The 1st Integrated Academic Conference was successfully concluded.
This academic conference was an academic exchange activity jointly prepared by three academic societies sponsored by Korea Management Association Consulting (hereinafter referred to as KMAC, CEO Suhee Han), and various academic research and cases were shared under the theme of ‘Change and innovation led by artificial intelligence.’
The morning event began with an opening speech by Kim Yeon-seong, president of the Korea Customer Satisfaction Management Association, followed by a congratulatory speech by KMAC CEO Han Soo-hee and a keynote lecture by President Ko Jin, chairman of the Digital Platform Government Committee.
In the afternoon session that followed, academic research was conducted, including △service innovation in artificial intelligence △roles and stability of artificial intelligence △solving social problems using AI △latest trends in artificial intelligence technology △generative artificial intelligence services △AI policies and cases of application in the public sector. Best practices and directions of private companies and public institutions were shared.
Faculty members from major universities such as KAIST, Chung-Ang University, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, as well as personnel from major companies and public institutions such as KT, LG Chem, Naver Cloud, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and Korea Expressway Corporation participated in this academic conference.
Chairman Kim Yeon-seong said, “This integrated academic conference is very meaningful in that it laid the foundation for the industry to systematically respond to changes resulting from the development of artificial intelligence.” CEO Han Soo-hee said, “Industrial development comes together with academic development,” and added, “We will not spare any support for the three academic societies in the future.”
Starting with this academic conference, the three academic societies plan to continue their activities to lead the development of academia and innovation in industry through various academic research and continuous exchange activities.
