KUWAIT CITY: 607 foreigners were deported from Kuwait in the first 11 days of January 2022, according to a deportation report.
They have been arrested by security agencies from different parts of the country for various offenses. Official figures were released by the General Administration of Correctional Institutions and the Department of Deportation and Temporary Arrest Affairs. Kuwait has launched an extensive search for violators after countries opened borders and restored air travel during the Kovid crisis.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Public Relations Department, the figures show that security agencies are taking effective action to catch and expel those who do not comply with existing laws in the country and expedite their expulsion from the country.
