(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 03 – The decree has been published in the Official Journal which extends the entry into force of the new tariffs for specialist outpatient and prosthetic care to 1 January 2025, necessary to make the application of the new Levels effective essential assistance (Lea) updated in 2017.
Among the services included in the 2017 Lea there are numerous services: for medically assisted procreation, the diagnosis and monitoring of celiac disease, neonatal screening for some pathologies, IT and communication aids for disabled people, advanced aids for motor disabilities. There are 2,108 performances guaranteed with the new Lea, compared to 1702 with the previous version. Hadrontherapy is also among the new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures introduced, while for motor rehabilitation new high-tech robotic assistance devices are planned and many innovations also concern prosthetic assistance with, among other things, advanced technology artificial limbs and voice recognition and eye pointing systems.
