Worse, telecommunications companies will be obliged to provide technical assistance when the police make a request.

The large island of Oceania will become one of the first countries in the world to legalize such a medical practice. Licensed psychiatrists will be able to prescribe the substances, also known as MDMA and psilocybin, for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder and certain types of depression, according to a February decision by Australia’s drug watchdog .
