In the territories liberated from occupation, measures are being taken to create a “green” energy zone.
As reported on Tuesday by Day.Az with reference to Trend, this was stated by the Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Development and Architecture of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev during a speech at a round table of leaders of sustainable “green” construction in Azerbaijan.
According to him, sustainable construction is becoming increasingly important in the context of the climate crisis caused by global warming.
“By chairing COP29, Azerbaijan is proving its determination to combat global climate change.
In the construction industry, we are implementing a number of measures related to digitalization and environmental protection. In a short time, the installation of a solar energy system on roofs was approved. In the liberated areas, measures are being taken to create a “green” energy zone,” he added.
