On New Year’s Eve, 35 thousand residents of the Murmansk region took part in festive festivities in 41 settlements. This was reported in the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A total of 146 Christmas trees were installed throughout the region. Residents and guests of the Murmansk region gladly took part in the festivities on New Year’s Eve. At the same time, no violations of public order were identified.
The police and the National Guard, employees of private security organizations, members of voluntary people’s guards, as well as representatives of various public associations of law enforcement and the Cossacks guarded law and order.
Earlier, MK in Murmansk wrote that a skating rink was opened in the city center, which will operate until March 1.
