Anyone who always thought that the Earth is the third planet from the sun is wrong. In reality, our planet floats farther from the sun than Jupiter does. At least, that’s what the latest generation of free textbooks in Mexican public education is trying to teach students. And this hell of a mistake is not the only one in the new edition, which is full of mistakes and inaccuracies in history, mathematics and physics, among other things. It has led to a storm of criticism in the country in recent days.
