REPORTING. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the election of Ahmed Ben Bella, Le Point Afrique went to his home for an insight into the intimacy of the first Algerian president.

The large green gate opens slowly, revealing a wide courtyard which opens onto a three-story house, a massive block in neo-Moorish style. To the right, an avenue shaded by white arcades leads to the garden; on the left, the host Mahdia, in her forties, stands in the entrance to the house.
