An unusual but serious moment ended up going viral on social media, after a pastor of the Assembly of God Church decided to scold his own ministry colleagues sitting behind him, at the altar, while directing the Holy Supper of the Lord.
In the recording it is possible to observe Pastor José Carlos de Lima, from the Assembly of God of Paraíba, addressing a large group of workers located at the altar. “Look, I get sick when the brothers pass by, and they say pastors don’t give offerings”, began the religious leader.
According to José Carlos, he was questioned by some brothers about why the pastors (supposedly from that church) did not offer. In an ironic tone, he said that “it’s because they forgot”.
During his speech, while some workers laughed, apparently thinking it was a moment of relaxation, others were serious and visibly upset. Church members in the pews also signaled positively about José Carlos’ rebuke, endorsing his position.
