In the restart of Paulista, Sub-20 overcomes Lemense away from home

After more than a month without playing in official games, the Sub-20 returned to the pitch this Wednesday night (02). Tricolor faced Lemense away from home in dispute for the second phase of the Paulista Championship and won the opponent: 2 to 1, goals from Talles Wander.

The team had the reinforcement of athletes who are part of the main team: Belém, Negrucci and Moreira were starters. The right-back made his first start since suffering a left knee injury in October 2022.

In the seventh minute, Caio received a good pass from Palmberg and was brought down in the area, but the striker saw the kick saved by the Lemense goalkeeper. The team soon recovered and, at 20, the goal came out. Luís Felipe received it on the left, passed the marker and crossed into the area, Talles Wander pushed for the goal.

In another move started by Luís Felipe, Talles Wander kept the ball and passed it to Caio, who was hindered by the defender and finished over the top. Shortly after, with 35, Negrucci recovered the ball and passed it to Talles Wander. The attacker dribbled the marker and finished the goalkeeper’s exit to enlarge.

Lemense managed to discount at the beginning of the second half, but could not prevent the São Paulo victory. The team reaches nine points and remains at the top of group 18 of the Campeonato Paulista Sub-20. In the next round, Tricolor will face Lemense again, but now at home in a clash next Wednesday (09), at 3 pm, at CFA Laudo Natel, in Cotia.
