Monday, October 25, was declared a day of mourning in the Ryazan region for those killed in the explosion at the plant, said the governor of the region Nikolai Lyubimov on the page on the social network “VKontakte”.
On this day, all entertainment events in the region will be canceled, flags will be lowered, the grids of regional television and radio broadcasting will be changed.
According to Lyubimov, the government will pay the families of the 16 victims of the explosion in the village of Lesnoy 1 million rubles each.
The families of those killed in the explosion at the plant near Ryazan will be allocated 1 million rubles each.
On the morning of October 22, an explosion occurred in the territory of one of the workshops of the Elastic synthetic fiber plant, which also produces explosives, in the village of Lesnoy, Ryazan Region. The incident happened at the enterprise LLC “Razryad”, which bought out a plot of land from “Elastic”, a representative of the plant told RBC. According to the data on the site of the tenant company, it is engaged in the production of explosives such as granulite, granipor and grammonite. They are used for explosions in mining or mining operations.
