The Bordeaux manager spoke of his team’s defeat against Toulon on Sunday evening (16-29).
Christophe Urios (manager of Bordeaux-Bègles, beaten 16-29 by Toulon ) : «I will first congratulate the Toulonnais. We took a team lesson. Last week, we were able to play as a team, now we didn’t play as a team. In the 1st half, it was just what we were doing with a lot of dross which meant that we couldn’t follow up well. In the second period, we are catastrophic, in terms of the game. Tactically, we lose the thread, we do anything. This game shouldn’t be fun. And after their second try, we were beaten in the fight.
We had an important opportunity today, again, we missed it. Too many players in the match didn’t do the job.
