In the South-West, the tax to finance the future Bordeaux-Toulouse TGV line goes badly

“It’s the return of the gabelle in the South-West”, ironically the opponents of the GPSO (large rail project in the South-West) since the confirmation of a “TGV tax” in the 2023 finance law adopted in mid -December by the National Assembly and now published in the Official Journal. There they discovered the details of the special equipment tax (TSE) dedicated to the financing of the LGV Bordeaux-Toulouse and Bordeaux-Dax, which is not expected before 2032 but whose work could begin in early 2024.
