Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) ended the week’s last business day Tuesday (February 13) with indices falling. The amount of transactions decreased compared to the previous working day. According to DSE and CSE sources, the prices of shares and mutual fund units of most of the companies participating in the transaction on DSE and CSE have increased.

According to the market review, the main index of DSE, DSEX, is down 30.11 points from the previous day at 6,394 points. The DSE Shariah index fell by 2.70 points to 1,391 points and the DS30 index rose by 5.59 points to 2,171 points.

A total of 399 shares and units of companies were traded on DSE. Among them, share and unit prices increased in 65 companies, decreased in 295 and remained unchanged in 39.

A total of 1 thousand 646 crore 41 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE today. Shares and units worth Tk 1,693 crore were traded on the previous working day.

On the other hand, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) CSCX increased by 35.07 points to 11 thousand 77 points. Overall index CASPI increased by 61.09 points to 18 thousand 500 points, Sharia index increased by 1.41 points to 1 thousand 184 points and CSE30 index increased by 22.34 points to 13 thousand 603 points.

On the day, shares and units of 286 companies were traded on CSE. Among them, share and unit prices of 87 companies increased, 166 decreased and 33 remained unchanged. At the end of the day, shares and units of Tk 24 crore 92 lakh were traded in CSE. Shares and units worth Tk 40.28 crore were traded on the previous working day.
