The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, met with the people of the municipality of Janzour, and inaugurated a number of projects within the municipality.

During the visit, Al-Dabaiba opened the indoor gym in Janzour, which will provide young people with suitable spaces to practice sports activities.

During the visit, the reference laboratory and blood bank were also opened. In addition to completing the maintenance of the Nasr al-Din al-Qummi Institute and the Janzour Central Center for Disabled Care, which provide their services to the entire western region, which contributes to strengthening the health and educational infrastructure in the city.

Al-Dabaiba also announced the inclusion of six new schools in Janzour within the Schools of the Future project, which aims to improve the educational environment and provide modern facilities for our children.

As for the projects that will start soon, the technical and engineering study for the sea road project in Janzour, which is considered one of the major strategic projects in the region, has been completed after its approval by the Urban Planning Department, and it is expected to begin contracting and implementing it soon.

It was also announced that work had begun on a project to transport surplus treated water from the Al-Najila station to the rainwater drainage line in Janzour. Within a month, this project will come within the national sewage treatment program, after overcoming the contractual problems that previously hindered its implementation, in addition to establishing a new sewage treatment plant for the city.

In his speech to the audience, Al-Dabaiba stressed, “These projects represent the beginning of a new path of development in Janzour, noting that this visit constitutes a turning point to accelerate the pace of development in the region.” He also called on the people of the city to join hands with the rest of Libya to support the stability the country is witnessing.

Addressing the people of the municipality, Al-Dabaiba said: “Janzour was a source of pride in its heritage and history,” adding: “Your deeply rooted history, your historical and national positions, and your lands full of good things, remain a witness to the authenticity and nobility of this region.”

Al-Dabaiba added during the opening of the sports complex at the Yarmouk Club in the municipality of Janzour: “The plan to restore life aims to implement 30 vital projects within the municipality of Janzour.”

He said: “The reference laboratory and blood bank projects were completed and handed over to the municipal health services, and the maintenance of the Nasr al-Din al-Qummi Institute and the Center for Care of the Disabled were completed and actually entered into operation.”

He added: “Six model schools were included in the municipality’s education sector development plan, and we are proud of the opening of the sports complex at the Yarmouk Club and its complete readiness.”

Al-Dabaiba continued: “The stages of the technical study for the sea road project in Janzour have been completed and its implementation will begin soon, and work continues to implement the treatment water surplus line project from Al-Najila station to the rainwater drainage line.”

Al-Dabaiba was received by notables of the city and the municipal council, in addition to the commander of the support and support force.

The visit comes within the framework of following up on the implementation of the “Return to Life” plan, which aims to develop infrastructure and enhance services in various regions of Libya, including the city of Janzour.
