The region recorded the maximum daily increase in coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the portal Stopkoronavirus.rf, the anti-record for COVID-19 infections has been updated in the Volgograd region – 360 cases per day. In general, since the beginning of the pandemic, the diagnosis was confirmed in 92 784 residents.
Over the past day, 345 more people completed treatment, in total 82 645 patients have already overcome the disease.
During the day, 24 people died from complications against the background of coronavirus. In total, the number of victims of the disease has reached 2,833.
Note that vaccination remains the most effective means of protecting against disease. At the end of September, about 860 thousand people were vaccinated against coronavirus in the Volgograd region, and more than 380 thousand were vaccinated against influenza. Residents of the region are encouraged to take care of their health and their loved ones and get vaccinated.
