The power companies will be able to restore heat supply on December 25, ”the press service said.

At present, street lighting in the Zheleznodorozhny District of Ulan-Ude has been turned off to compensate for the load on the power grid. Residents of the houses of the emergency CHP plant actively use electric heaters, which is why the load on the network has increased by 30%. During the day, the republican Ministry of Emergencies was distributing electric heating devices to the population. On behalf of the head of the Republic of Buryatia, Aleksey Tsydenov, the energy sales organization Chitaenergosbyt JSC will submit proposals for compensating the population for additional electricity costs.

As Kommersant previously reported, an accident occurred at the TPP-1 in Ulan-Ude due to a fire in the electrical wiring.
