In its latest analysis, CarVertical focused on the average annual mileage in European countries. It turns out that cars from the Netherlands have the highest average annual mileage of 29,851 km, followed by those from Spain (29,017 km), Denmark (27,346 km), Belgium (24,308 km) and France (23,775 km) .

After only 3-4 years, cars from these countries can have about 100,000 kilometers, which indirectly forces their owners to sell them and choose a new car. Higher mileage usually means the car will command a lower price, so drivers often try to sell them before they have depreciated significantly due to the high mileage.

As for Bulgaria, with an average annual mileage of 20,999 kilometers, ours is in 13th place out of 27 countries. It is interesting that, according to the research, there is more fighting in our country than in Italy.

If we look at the countries with the lowest average annual kilometers, the leaders are the Latvians, where they travel an average of 17,420 km per year. Slightly more cars drive in neighboring Estonia (17,501 km) and Lithuania (17,980 km). This exclusive club of low-mileage countries also includes Poland – 17,925 km, followed by Switzerland – 19,151 km.
