With its first outing of the season, the fifth edition of this tourist proposal has begun and new excursions will be added on the last Sunday of each month, until November.

The package includes travel from Madrid or Segovia to Valladolid on Avant trains. The departure is from the Madrid Chamartín station at 10:15, or from Segovia Guiomar at 10:43, to arrive at its final destination at 11:20. The return trip has been scheduled from Valladolid at 8:35 p.m., stopping in Segovia at 9:10 p.m. and ending in Madrid at 9:40 p.m. The proposal also includes additional trips by bus and guided tours of the different places of interest that vary depending on the program of each month.

During the trip on this Avant train, there is a theatrical show on board in which some of the secrets of the Canal de Castilla are detailed. The catalog includes castles such as Montealegre de Campos and Fuensaldaña, unique places such as the Bread Museum in Mayorga or the Cheese Museum in Villalón de Campos or the Cistercian monastery of Matallana, in the town of Villalba de los Alcores. There is also a tourist visit to Medina de Rioseco and a meal in restaurants in the area to taste the local specialties.

The Castilla Canal Train program proposes, as a closing activity, a river cruise through the canal that gives it its name, a unique hydraulic engineering work, built in the 18th century and which is currently the only navigable canal in all of Spain.
