Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the United Arab Emirates, inaugurated the new Hindu temple built in the Jebel Ali area of Dubai yesterday. This temple is the oldest temple of Sindhi Guru Darbar.
The foundation stone was laid last year 2020 as a renewal measure. With the opening of this temple yesterday, it is said that a 10-year dream of Indians living in Dubai has been fulfilled. 16 deities are enshrined inside this temple and all religions and other visitors are allowed to worship here.
Built of white marble, the pillars and facade of the temple are designed in Arabic and Hindu style. A young red lotus is arranged in a three-dimensional form in the prayer hall. Also many bells are hung there.
The temple is open from 6:30 AM to 8 PM and prior to visiting the temple, the devotees have to make a reservation on the official website. Booking is arranged on QR-code basis.
