A subsidiary of United Healthcare Services Limited, has inaugurated the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and HDU at MA Rashid Hospital, Jamalpur.
Jamalpur city’s first 10-bed ICU and HDU were launched in a ceremony organized at the hospital on Tuesday (September 10). Aiming to provide the best critical care services in Jamalpur city, the hospital’s ICU and HDU are equipped with modern technology and medical equipment.
This hospital can ensure fast treatment of all types of critical patients. MA Rashid Hospital will now also be able to cater to patients requiring critical care. Many patients will be able to receive these services very quickly in Jamalpur from now on. Hospital Director Operations Major (Retd.) Dr. Mizanur Rahman conducted the whole program.
Chief Executive Officer of United Healthcare Services Limited. Faizur Rahman said in his opening speech, ‘United Healthcare is continuously working to provide health services throughout the country. This ICU and HDU will help raise the quality of our treatment at Jamalpur and we hope it will add a new level of safety and care for our patients.’
Chief guest of the program Jamalpur Sheikh Hasina Medical College Principal Professor Dr. M. A. K Azad in his speech praised the advanced medical services of MA Rashid Hospital.

The new ICU has a rich team of trained doctors and nurses, ready to serve patients 24 hours a day. Note that MA Rashid Hospital is a tertiary level hospital with 250 beds. The institution has been providing modern and better medical services to the people of Jamalpur since 2021.
