Tirupur; ‘Indian Red Cross’ ambulance service was inaugurated by Collector Vineeth yesterday.

People are using the 40 lakh rupees ambulance service run by ‘Indian Red Cross’ in Tirupur district. Secondly, an ambulance service has been started with state-of-the-art life saving facilities at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs.

Collector Vineeth inaugurated the service at a function held at the Collector’s office. According to the administrators, the government hospital will be run free of charge for the employee and the private hospital will be operated at 50 percent fee.

Dr. Muruganathan, ‘Indian Red Cross’ District Chairman Shanmukha Vadivel, Secretary Damodaran and others participated in the programme.
