Thus, within the framework of the regional development program of the Casablanca-Settat region, the president of the regional council, Abdellatif Maâzouz, and the governor of the province of Benslimane, Samir El Yazidi, inaugurated several roads over a length of 21.5 km in the province of Benslimane, in order to contribute to the reduction of territorial and social disparities with regard to the infrastructure of the province.
The total cost of building these unclassified roads, which will benefit more than 4,400 people, amounts to 7.8 million dirhams. These projects concern six unclassified sections in the commune of Ouled Yahia Louta.
These include the municipal road 19 linking the national road 23 and the provincial road 3319 over a length of 3.27 km, passing through the douars of Ouled El Bahloul Tiresse, Ouled Taleb Tiresse, Ouled chatane, the commune of Fdalate and the dispensary in the center of the commune, which will benefit 900 people, as well as the road axis linking the municipal road 1 to the RP 3325 over a length of 5.45 km, passing through the douars of Sehata, Soualem, the commune of Ziaida and Benslimane, and which will benefit 800 people.
These projects also cover the road axis linking the national road 23 to the regional road 313 over a length of 5.6 km, passing through the douars of Elbaid, Bni Karzaz, Ouled Bahaloul Sahel, Ouled Taleb Sahel and the commune of Aïn Tizgha, which will benefit 1,200 people, as well as the road axis linking the RN 23 and the RP 3330 over a length of 2.1 km, passing through the douar of El Aouanis and the commune of Moualine Loued, and which will benefit 500 people.
This also concerns the road axis between the communal road 1 and the RP 3315 over a length of 3.1 km, passing through the douars of El Aouanis, Rhahla, Ouled Ali, Soualem and the dispensary in the center of the commune, which will benefit 400 people, as well as the road axis connecting the communal road 1 to Souk Tlat over a length of 2 km, passing through the douars of Sehata, El Bouchtiyine, Laouiriyine and Zyayda, which will benefit 600 people.
In a statement to M24, the continuous news channel of MAP, Mr. Maâzouz, stressed the importance of these development projects and their role in reducing territorial and social disparities with regard to the province’s infrastructure.
He added that the roads inaugurated on this occasion over a length of 21.5 km in the commune of Ouled Yahya Louta, in the province of Benslimane, were completed in 7 months, a shorter period than initially planned, explaining that these roads now connect regional roads to douars between them.
The Casablanca-Settat region, through its regional development program, recently concluded an agreement with the Ministry of Equipment, Water and Electricity, concerning the development of the rural environment, particularly with regard to roads, electricity and drinking water.
On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the road projects, the official delegation headed to the douar of Ouled Bahaloul, in order to inspect the progress of the works of supplying drinking water to the douars of the commune of Ouled Yahya Louta, which are 90% complete.
