Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Health has asked the public to wear masks to prevent the spread of the virus. The Ministry also informed that the vaccine should be accepted without reluctance to prevent the contagious flu. It is recommended to avoid touching the eyes and nose as much as possible. The Ministry of Health has started a special propaganda campaign aimed at raising awareness against the flu to prevent the spread of the disease in various groups such as the elderly, those with serious illnesses, those with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, health workers and others in the general public.

The ministry advised to keep the surroundings clean, wash hands regularly and use handkerchiefs for sneezing and coughing. Symptoms of dengue fever include body temperature higher than 38 degrees Celsius, chills and unusual sweating. The Ministry has warned that if the flu infects people with other serious health problems, there is a possibility of complications. The notification also states that the fever can progress to pneumonia, bronchitis and blood infection and even death.
