It is a well-known fact that the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) still generates more revenue than any other national cricket board. But the BCCI has once again proved that it is the undisputed powerhouse of world cricket. Highest earning cricket board revealed by BCCI data According to data published by Times Now, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has generated a revenue of Rs 3,730 crore in 2021. In second place is Cricket Australia, the Australian cricket board. Its revenue is Rs 2,843 crore.
However, BCCI’s income is 23% higher than that of Australia. England & Wales Cricket Board took the third place. It earned a revenue of Rs 2,135 crore. Pakistan Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is at the fourth position with revenue of Rs 811 crore.
Bangladesh Cricket Board is at the fifth position. It generates a revenue of Rs 802 crore. South Africa is sixth in the list with Rs 485 crore and New Zealand Cricket Board is seventh with Rs 210 crore. West Indies Cricket Board (Rs 116 crores), Zimbabwe Cricket Board (Rs 113 crores), and Sri Lanka Cricket (Rs 100 crores) occupy the bottom three spots in this list.
It is noteworthy that IPL success has helped BCCI to become the unshakable cricket board in the world.
