At the same time, the Tamil Nadu government has come forward to increase the purchase price by 15 rupees per liter while the milk producers have asked for an increase in the purchase price of 15 rupees as if they are giving corn fritters to a hungry elephant.
Moreover, the People’s Justice Center strongly condemns the increase in the purchase price of milk by Rs. 3 per liter and the selling price of the orange milk packet with high fat content by Rs. 12 per liter. The difference between the monthly card and the current increase in price is Rs. 14 per liter. This sale leads to corruption and irregularities. The Tamil Nadu government should reconsider the price hike. Also, since the increase in milk purchase price announced by the government is not affordable in the current period, the government should reconsider it and raise it to at least Rs. 10.00 per liter.
Also, since the development of Aavin is related to milk producers, milk agents and the public, in the future, the government should make a document to change the milk purchase, sales price increase, and the commission amount for milk sale every year as per the increase in the discount given to the central and state government employees. .
