A group of 24 former members of Congress from the Democratic Party sent a letter to US President Joe Biden urging him to withdraw from the presidential elections.
The text of the letter said: “President Biden will serve the country he loves by finding a solution to the way the rest of the Democrats run for the presidency.
The letter warned Biden that his participation in the presidential elections would not only lead to the victory and defeat of Donald Trump, but could also undermine the position of Democrats in Congress and local legislatures.
The pressure is increasing on Biden from his Democratic Party to withdraw from the presidential election race next November after his disastrous performance in the debate between himself and his rival, Donald Trump.
From pressures within the Biden party, to the media, when the editorial boards of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal demanded that Biden withdraw from the presidential election race.
The New York Times reported that the deterioration of Biden’s condition has increased significantly in recent months and the matter is becoming more worrying, especially after the failure of his debate with Trump.
