It has been reported that Mohammed Shami, who was preparing for the series against Bangladesh, has withdrawn from the series due to a shoulder injury and he will now be under the observation of doctors at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

In his place, the young fast bowler Umran Malik, who made his ODI debut for the Indian team during the recent tour of New Zealand, will officially join the team as a substitute, BCCI has released a statement on their official Twitter page.
