Captain Rohit Sharma did not play in this match due to injury. Gill got a chance to replace him. He made the most of his opportunity and scored his 110 at a strike rate of 72 including three sixes and 10 fours. Kohli and Rahul excitedly celebrate Gill’s century.

Gill’s attacking hundred, Cheteshwar Pujara’s fastest Test century off 130 balls has given India a dominant lead in the first Test. India declared their second innings at 258/2 and set a huge target of 513 for Bangladesh. With 2 days left, the Indian team will win if they take the wickets of the Bangladeshi players.
