The 2nd Test between India and New Zealand starts today at Wankhede, Mumbai. The ground was affected throughout the first season as it was wet. The toss was made at 11.30 am and the match started at 12 noon.

India won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 221 for 4 at the end of the first day’s play.

Indian openers Mayank Agarwal and Shubman Gill added 80 runs for the first wicket. Schupman Gill was out for 44 runs. Ajaz Patel, who dropped him, ducked out both Pujara and Kohli in his next over. Ajaz Patel bowled the 30th over of the innings, knocking down Pujara in the 2nd ball of the over and the goalie in the last ball. Shreyas Iyer was then dismissed for 18. But Mayank Agarwal has scored a huge century, along with Rithiman Saha.

The Indian team lost the first wicket for 80 runs and was reduced to 3 wickets for the same 80 runs. But Virat Kohli is not out. The third umpire gave out incorrectly.

Ajaz Patel threw the ball to the goal referee LPW out. But Virat Kohli immediately reviewed it with great confidence. Third umpire Virender Sharma, who examined it for a long time, gave it out. But it was only after the ball was batted in the replay that it became clear that it had hit the quarterback. But the umpire mistakenly gave it out. After the third umpire gave out, Virat Kohli left the field in displeasure after informing the field umpire that the ball had been batted, and went on to express his anger by hitting the bouncing line with the bat.

Former players Wasim Jaffer, Parthiv Patel and RB Singh tweeted that Virat Kohli was not out and that the third umpire’s wrong decision. Fans are also hotly debating the issue on social media.

In this case, the BCCI who tweeted about the incident, is not Virat Kohli out? Tweeted that you decide for yourself. This tweet from the BCCI is going viral.
