IND vs SA | India’s tour of South Africa; Spectators will not be allowed on the Boxing Day Test

by time news
Spectators will not be allowed in the first Test of India’s tour of South Africa. Tickets for the match are on sale in Cricket South Africa as the new variant of the Covid (Covid-19) Omicron spreads across the country. NDTV reports that the African newspaper Rapport reports that this may not be the case. In the current scenario, only 2,000 spectators will be allowed to enter the event as special invitees.

Cricket South Africa is watching to see if there will be any immediate change in the Kovid restrictions imposed on the country. India’s tour of South Africa begins with a Test match on December 26 at Boxing Day in Centurion. Apart from the first Test, ticket sales for the second Test, which starts at Wanderers on January 3, have not yet started. Wanderers Stadium officials announced the news on Twitter. More announcements about ticket sales will follow.

Meanwhile, the Indian team, which arrived in South Africa on December 16 for the tour, is in a strict bio-bubble system. The Indian team has also started training sessions for the tour.
