INDH: 525 projects carried out between 2019 and 2022 in the province of Fkih Ben Salah

In detail, 25 projects were carried out with funding of more than 16 million dirhams (MDH) for the benefit of 100,329 people as part of the program to catch up on deficits in infrastructure and basic social services.

These projects concern the construction of roads and highways, the supply of drinking water and access to basic services in the areas of health and education.

Similarly, 42 projects requiring funding of more than 27 MDH were carried out within the framework of the support program for people in precarious situations for the benefit of 5,238 beneficiaries among people with specific needs, patients suffering from renal failure, women in extremely precarious situations, the homeless and abandoned children.

As part of the program to improve the income and economic inclusion of young people, a total of 239 projects were carried out for the benefit of 5,905 young people in addition to the creation of six youth platforms in six municipalities in the province of Fkih Ben Salah.

Also, 374,466 people benefited from the implementation with funding of more than 96 MDH of 213 projects within the framework of the program to boost the human capital of rising generations.

At the beginning of this meeting organized by the Provincial Committee for Human Development (CPDH) of Fkih Ben Salah under the theme of “assessment of the achievements of phase III”, the governor of the province of Fkih Ben Salah, Mohamed Karnachi, stressed in a speech the need to consolidate and immunize the achievements of the first two phases of the INDH with an emphasis on the development of human capital, the promotion of the conditions of the rising generations, the improvement of income and the economic inclusion of young people.

This meeting was marked by the presentation of two reports on the assessment of the partnerships concluded with the INDH for the implementation of the projects of phase III of the National Initiative for Human Development.

At the end of this meeting, the governor of the province of Fkih Ben Salah visited, along with a delegation composed of members of the provincial and local human development committees as well as heads of external services and civil society actors, some projects currently being implemented within the framework of phase III of the INDH, in particular the children’s awakening center in Fkih Ben Salah (4 MDH) and the center for people with specific needs in Souk Sebt (5.7 MDH).
