According to a report made public on Saturday at the prefecture headquarters by the regional human development committee (CRDH), on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the launch of the Initiative, 15 of these projects with a budget of nearly 27 million dirhams were been carried out within the framework of program 1 of the INDH, relating to making up for deficits in infrastructure and basic services in under-equipped territories.
The data revealed during the annual CRDH meeting, held in the presence of the governor of the Salé prefecture, Omar Touimi, under the theme “The first 1,000 days of life: the basis of the future of our children,” show in particular that 220 projects mobilizing 90 MDH were implemented within the framework of program 2 relating to support for people in precarious situations, while 471 projects (78.13 MDH) were carried out as part of program 3 relating to improving the income and economic inclusion of young people.
As part of program 4 relating to boosting the human capital of rising generations, in its axis linked to supporting infant and maternal health and nutrition, a total of 14 projects were carried out for 4 million dirhams.
Likewise, three youth platforms were set up in three different areas, namely Hay Salam, Sidi Abdellah and Sala Al Jadida, while two other platforms were planned in the commune of Ameur and at the Lamrissa district level. .
Among the main achievements of the INDH in Salé, also include the mobile medical unit project, the upgrade and equipment of a medical care unit, as well as the signing of a partnership agreement with the African Organization to Fight AIDS, within the framework of program 2 in addition to other partnership agreements with the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Health at the level of the Salé prefecture, as well as with the National Association midwives in Morocco.
Speaking on this occasion, the regional delegate of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, Boubker Yaakoubi, noted that among the flagship projects to which the INDH has contributed, and which have had a positive impact on the population, include notably the creation of a dental center, a hemodialysis center, a mobile medical unit offering biological analysis services, a unit dedicated to maternal health and a mobile care center.
Other projects will be launched this year, including a rehabilitation center, Yaakoubi said in press statements.
For his part, Mohamed Draoui, responsible within the social action division at the Salé prefecture, indicated that the CRDH, with other partners, has developed and scheduled a set of projects linked in particular to awareness-raising regarding the importance of medical support for pregnant women, nutrition, natural breastfeeding and medical monitoring of newborns.
The rural environment has benefited from particular attention through the implementation of a set of projects, such as the creation of health establishments and mobile medical units to carry out medical campaigns for the benefit of pregnant women and newborns. , added Mr. Draoui.
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange ideas on different projects and activities carried out within the framework of the INDH programs, in particular that relating to the boosting of the human capital of rising generations, in its axis linked to the support of child and maternal health and nutrition.
The meeting was also marked by an exhibition of models of projects carried out within the framework of the INDH.
