INDH Anniversary: ​​Communication Meeting in Agadir

Speaking on this occasion, the Wali of the Souss-Massa Region, Governor of the Prefecture of Agadir Ida Outanane, Ahmed Hajji indicated that the INDH constitutes a royal project open to the service of human development and the reduction of the socio-economic deficit, as well as the integration of people in precarious situations.

It is also an initiative dedicated to the consecration of the values ​​of solidarity within the framework of a global and integrated strategy based on the territorial dimension and in harmony with local specificities, he stressed.

He added that phase III of the INDH recorded significant achievements in the Souss-Massa region in the various priority areas, for the benefit of several beneficiaries who benefited from the programs and activities of this royal project, which helped improve their living conditions and strengthen their contribution to the development process.

For his part, the Head of the Regional Coordination Service for Human Development in the Wilaya of the Souss-Massa Region, Fahd Tazi Sadeq, said that since the launch of the third phase of the INDH, until 2023, a total of 290 projects deployed have been recorded at the level of the Prefecture of Agadir Ida Outanane for a total investment of around 605,187,228.85 Dhs, including a contribution from the INDH amounting to 189,967,230.01 dhs.

These projects include programs to make up for deficits in infrastructure and basic social services, support people in precarious situations, boost the human capital of rising generations and improve the income and economic inclusion of young people, he said.

Organized under the theme “Review of the achievements and achievements of phase III”, this meeting was marked by the screening of a video capsule relating to the steps to be taken by young project leaders, then the announcement of the opening of the second youth platform in Tadart Anza,

This is a space dedicated to welcoming, listening to and guiding young people, like the existing “DAR MOMKIN” structure, located in the Lagouira district of Agadir.

The celebration of the 18th anniversary of the launch by HM King Mohammed VI of the INDH is a renewed opportunity to take stock of the achievements of the third phase aimed at enabling human capital to highlight its potential and to support vulnerable categories.

During this phase, the INDH programs were oriented towards qualitative areas of intervention that mainly aim to fill the deficit in infrastructure and basic social services in the least equipped territorial areas, support for people in vulnerable situations, improve income and economic inclusion of young people, in addition to promoting the human development of future generations.

This third phase benefits from a budget envelope of 18 billion dirhams (MMDH) for a period of five years, which will be distributed in a balanced manner between the four programs, the first three benefiting equally from 4 MMDH, while 6 MMDH will be allocated to the program for promoting human development for generations to come.

The kick-off for this third phase was given by the Sovereign during the royal speech celebrating the 19th anniversary of the Throne Festival.
