INDH: Inauguration in Médiouna of the “Digital Professions Complex”

The inauguration of this complex (Social Rehabilitation Center), which took place in the presence of the governor of the province of Médiouna, Ali Salem Chagaf, comes after a rehabilitation operation supported by the INDH as part of its third program , and taking into account the importance of the digital transition as an essential lever for achieving sustainable development, economic and social inclusion and the promotion of digital professions with the aim of supporting the evolution of the labor market in the Morocco.

This project, to which the “Ibdaâ” institution also contributes, is part of the national digital transition strategy launched by the government with the aim of enabling young people to acquire digital skills and strengthening the capacities of businesses. in the field of new technologies.

The Lahraouyine digital professions complex offers a series of specialized training programs, which include, among others, software development, learning programming languages, developing applications and electronic sites, analyzing data, digital marketing, cybersecurity, performance analytics and artificial intelligence.

The complex also offers training related to digital project management, including methods of effective planning and implementation of projects in the digital environment and social entrepreneurship.

It also includes training spaces in digital entrepreneurship and programs with funding organizations, which help to equip beneficiaries with the knowledge necessary to create sustainable projects and face the challenges of the modern digital market.

On this occasion, the head of the department of support for people in precarious situations (Program 2 of the INDH) within the prefecture of the province of Médiouna, Hassan Bela, underlined that the inauguration of this complex after its rehabilitation aims to support developments in the labor market in Morocco in order to support young people and women and enable them to obtain training qualifying them to enter the world of work.

In a statement to MAP, he explained that the rehabilitation process of this complex is part of supporting people in precarious situations during the current year, for a financial cost of approximately 900,000 DH, to which the INDH and the “Ibdaâ” institution contributed, which was responsible for ensuring the management of this complex as part of a partnership linking the Initiative to this institution.

For his part, Mohammed Chouhani, responsible for the complex, stressed that through this complex, the “Ibdaâ” institution works to attract young people who have dropped out of school with the aim of giving them a second chance and this, by offering training capable of facilitating their access to the job market.

He said that the Lahraouyine digital professions complex, which consists of two floors, currently welcomes around a hundred young people who benefit from training in numerous professions mainly linked to the digital field, adding that the duration of the training varies between 3 and 6 months.

Furthermore, the prefecture of the province of Médiouna organized a ceremony at the Ibn Nafis school in the Rachad district, dedicated to environmental education in preschool under the theme “preschool, cornerstone of the education system”.

In an appropriate intervention, Assia Naim, from the Médiouna social action division, underlined that this meeting is organized at the initiative of the provincial human development committee in partnership with the provincial direction of the Ministry of National Education, of Preschool and Sports, noting that this initiative aims to spread the culture of environmental protection to younger generations and to further educate children on the environmental field through several workshops.
