India A scored 120 runs for no loss in the first innings in the first unofficial Test against Bangladesh A. Before that, Bangladesh A lost all wickets for 112 runs in 45 overs.

In December, the Indian team will tour Bangladesh and play 2 Tests and 3 ODIs. The ODI series starts from December 4. Before that, India A will tour Bangladesh and play two unofficial Tests. The first test started today. The 2nd Test starts on December 6. Former Sri Lanka player Shitansu Kodakum Troy Cooley as the head coach of India A team and D. Dileep also works as a fielding coach.

India A won the toss and elected to field in the first unofficial Test which started at Cox’s Bazar. The first 5 wickets fell for 26 runs as India A team bowled well. After this Mosadegh Hussain played in charge and added 63 runs. However, Bangladesh A lost all wickets for 112 runs in 45 overs. 29-year-old left-arm spinner Selurab Kumar, who will replace Jadeja in the Test series, took 4 wickets and Navdeep Saini took 3 wickets.

India A started strongly in their first innings. At the end of the first day, India A scored 120 runs in 36 overs without losing a wicket. Yashaswi Jaiswal scored 61 runs and captain Abhimanyu Iswaran scored 53 runs. India A has taken an 8 run lead in the first innings on the first day with 10 wickets remaining.

The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team along with Rahul Dravid leaves for Bangladesh on December 1. The first Test of the Test series will start on December 14 and the second Test on December 22.
