Russia has been attacking Ukraine for the 7th day. Ukrainian forces are also retaliating for the Russian attack. Thousands have been killed in clashes between the two sides.
Meanwhile, the world community has condemned Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
In this context, the UN has not yet commented on the Ukraine issue. An emergency meeting of the council was held today. At that special meeting it was decided that Russian troops should leave Ukraine immediately. The UN has 193 member countries. The House held a vote on the resolution.
In that referendum, 141 countries voted in favor of the resolution. The United Nations has called for the immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. The resolution was passed in the House.
Meanwhile, the UN India did not participate in the vote on the resolution passed in the Assembly. 193 out of 141 countries voted in favor of the resolution against Russia. 5 countries voted against the resolution. 35 countries did not participate in the referendum.
