New Delhi: India has become the fifth largest economic power in the world. The country has overtaken Britain to achieve the feat. Britain is currently ranked sixth in the list. India is ahead of America, China, Japan and Germany. Britain is lagging behind because of a huge increase in the cost of living.
The ranking is based on dollars. India’s performance in the last three months of 2021 has brought India to the forefront. It is expected that the economic sector of the country will grow by more than seven percent this year. It is estimated that the growth in the country’s stock indices will also support this.
