New Delhi: India has moved up six places to 37th position in the ‘World Competitiveness Index’ list.

The Institute for Management Development is compiling the Global Competitiveness Index, which ranks India six places up from 37th to 37th place, up from 43rd this year, due to better economic performance.

.Denmark tops the list with a total of 63 countries. Last year it was in third place. Switzerland has slipped from first place to second place. Singapore is in third place. China is down one place to 17th.

According to the World Competitiveness Center, India has regained the confidence of the business community as Prime Minister Narendra Modi made major improvements in taxes in 2021.
