New Delhi: India is the fourth most influential and powerful country in Asia, according to reports. The report was released by the Sydney – based Lowe’s Institute.
India has been ranked fourth out of 26 countries in the Indo – Pacific region. India has been able to achieve this by considering its economic capabilities, military might, defense capabilities and cultural influence.
The United States has won the first place through diplomacy. China is second and Japan is third. According to the report, Pakistan’s growth index is in the 15th position due to its poor performance.
Russia is in fifth place, followed by Australia and North Korea in sixth and seventh. Neighboring countries Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are ranked 19th and 20th respectively
