In India, they launched a carrier rocket with an automatic lunar station Chandrayaan 3 (“Chandrayan-3”). Launch Broadcast was conducted on the website of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

The launch took place from the launch site on the island of Sriharikota in the Bay of Bengal, where the Satish Dhawan Space Center is located.

It is specified that the station has already entered orbit and separated from the launch vehicle. It is assumed that the device should land on the surface of the south pole of the moon. He is expected to perform a surface analysis. In total, the mission of the lunar rover is scheduled for 14 days.

Chandrayaan 3 consists of three parts – a module with a propulsion system, a lander and a lunar rover.

In July 2019, India launched the Chandrayaan 2 (Chandrayan-2) spacecraft to the Moon. However, in September, the descent module of the automatic station with the lunar rover on board, which was supposed to land on the south pole of the Earth’s satellite, crashed.
