Dublin: India’s best score in the last Twenty20 match against Ireland as they went on to win the series for the second time in a row. The visitors won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 227 for seven in 20 overs. Despite getting off to a great start, the run-scoring slowed down as wickets continued to fall in the final overs.
Malayalee batsmen Sanju Samson and Ishant Kishan, who replaced the injured Rituraj Gaekwad, opened the innings. But Ishaan (three) returned early. Deek Hooda (104 off 57 balls) and Sanju (77 off 42 balls) were the top scorers for India. Yusvendra Chahal and Avesh Khan are not in the starting XI.
