The second part of the documentary ‘India: The Modi Question’, which explains the Gujarat riots and Modi’s role in it, was aired. The documentary is based on an investigative report by the UK Foreign Office.
The documentary explains about the anti-people policies after Narendra Modi came to power in 2019. The documentary mentions the Citizenship Amendment Act, the removal of Kashmir’s special status, mob attacks against Muslims, which led to fierce protests.
The first part of the documentary led to widespread discussions and protests in the country. After the release of the first part, the central government intervened and ordered the withdrawal of links from YouTube and Twitter.
