UN: The UN estimates that the world’s population will reach 8 billion on November 15 this year. According to a report released by the UN on Monday, India will overtake China to become the most populous country in the world in 2023. According to the report of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Welfare, the population growth here after 1950 is at a lower rate than before.
By 2030, the population will reach 850 crores. Likewise, the population will increase to 970 crores by 2050. It is estimated that the population in 2080 will be 1040 crores. After that, the population may not increase significantly until 2100. At the same time, many developing countries have significantly lower birth rates.
Eight countries are expected to account for more than half of the world’s population growth in the coming decades. Countries such as Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines and Tanzania are expected to experience a significant increase in population in the coming days.
