The India-Bahrain friendly football match will be played today. The match will be played at the Madinat Hamad Stadium in Bahrain at 9:30 pm. India is ranked 104th in the FIFA rankings. Bahrain is 89th, but VP Zuhair, a Malayalee, has been named in the Indian squad for the friendly matches.
India captain Sunil Chettri and Sahal Abdul Samad, who are out of the squad due to injuries, will not play in India’s friendly matches. India will play a friendly against Belarus on the 26th of this month.
