London: India won the ODI series against England. India won the series by five wickets in the crucial final match. After losing the toss, England came into bat and were bowled out for 259 runs in 45.5 overs. In reply, India overcame the target with the loss of five wickets in 42.1 overs.

Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten century led India to victory. Ball scored 125 runs off 113 balls. It is noteworthy that this is the star’s first century in ODI cricket. After losing the toss and batting, England was relieved by captain Jos Buttler’s (60) innings. Among the bowlers, Hardik Pandya shone with four wickets. Chahal has taken three wickets. The two had shared the first two matches of the series.

Earlier, India took control of the England batting in the second over. Mohammad Siraj, who got his first chance in the ODI series, dismissed Jonny Bairstow (0) and Joe Root (0). Bairstow returns with a catch to Shreyas Iyer at mid-off. Siraj returned Root (0) in the last ball of the same over. The Jason Roy (41)-Stokes combination at the crease saved England from collapse. Both added 54 runs. But Raw miscued his attempt to hook Hardik Pandya. In the 10th over, Roy returned with a catch to Rishabh Pant.
