Bangalore: India win Pink Ball Test against Sri Lanka India beat the visitors by 238 runs to win the series. R. Ashwin took four wickets.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 208 in the second innings with a target of 447. Captain Dimuth Karunaratne’s resistance saved Sri Lanka from a major setback.

Karunaratne scored 107 off 174 balls. This is the fourteenth century of the Sri Lankan captain’s career. Kushal Mendis backed Karunaratne with a half-century. Apart from them, Niroshan Dickwell, who scored 12 runs, was the only Sri Lankan to score two runs.

Ashwin took four wickets for Sri Lanka. Apart from Chennai, Jaspreet Bumra took three wickets and Akshar Patel two.

Shreyas Iyer was the man of the match with 92 off 98 balls in the first innings and 67 off 87 balls in the second innings.
