India squad for Srilanka : The Sri Lankan team will tour India from the first week of January to play T20 and ODI series. In this case, the BCCI announced the Indian squad for the ODI and T20I series last night. On the other hand in the ODI team, Rohit Sharma continues as the captain. Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj have been given a chance. Sanju Samson, who was part of the T20 team, was not given a chance in the ODI series. In particular, Dhawan, who has captained many ODI series, has been sidelined.
Jadeja and Bumrah are yet to recover from injury. Hence, Umran Malik, Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel have been fielded in both the Indian series. Another notable aspect of this is that actioner Rishabh Pant has been dropped from both the series.
